Illinois Sports defeases $74.64 million of 2001 sports facility bonds

Norfolk, Va., Aug. 22 – The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority defeased $74.64 million of its series 2001 sports facility bonds, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at 101 plus accrued interest on June 15, 2015:
• $1.62 million of 5.1% bonds due June 15, 2016;
• $1.7 million of 5.2% bonds due June 15, 2017;
• $1.79 million of 5.25% bonds due June 15, 2018;
• $1,885,000 of 5.35% bonds due June 15, 2019;
• $1,985,000 of 5.4% bonds due June 15, 2020;
• $2.09 million of 5.45% bonds due June 15, 2021;
• $2,205,000 of 5.5% bonds due June 15, 2022;
• $2,325,000 of 5.5% bonds due June 15, 2023; and
• $59.04 million of 5.5% bonds due June 15, 2030.
U.S. Bank NA is the escrow agent.
