Scotiabank to redeem all series 13 non-cumulative preferreds July 29

San Luis Obispo, Calif., June 23 – The Bank of Nova Scotia said it will redeem all outstanding series 13 non-cumulative preferred shares, according to a press release.

The preferreds will be redeemed on July 29 at $25.00 per share plus accrued dividends. The bank will use its general funds to finance the redemption.

The redemption has been approved by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, the release noted.

The financial services provider is based in Toronto.
