Chicago to redeem $653.22 million of Midway Airport revenue bonds

Norfolk, Va., June 13 – The City of Chicago called $653,215,000 of its series 1996A, 1996B, 1998A, 1998B, 2001A, 2001B and 2010D-1 revenue bonds issued for the Chicago Midway Airport, according to multiple notices.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on July 11.

The following 1996A bonds will be redeemed:

• $58.42 million of 5.5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2029.

The following 1996B bonds will be redeemed:

• $3.22 million of 5.75% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $9.27 million of 5.75% bonds due Jan. 1, 2022; and

• $41,805,000 of 5.625% bonds due Jan. 1, 2029.

The following 1998A bonds will be redeemed:

• $940,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $29.72 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2028;

• $61,035,000 of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2031; and

• $125.3 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2035.

The following 1998B bonds will be redeemed:

• $515,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $14.48 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2028;

• $6,455,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2031; and

• $61,025,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2035.

The following 2001A bonds will be redeemed:

• $6.76 million of 5.5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $9.29 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2021;

• $54,105,000 of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2026; and

• $61.74 million of 5.1% bonds due Jan. 1, 2031.

The following 2001B bonds will be redeemed:

• $3,225,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2022;

• $3,385,000 of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2023; and

• $24.17 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2031.

The following 2010D-1 second-lien revenue bonds will be redeemed:

• $78,175,000 of 3.532% bonds due Jan. 1, 2041.
