BlackRock New York Municipal 2018 to redeem $2.5 million preferreds

Norfolk, Va., June 9 – BlackRock Advisors, LLC announced that the BlackRock New York Municipal 2018 Term Trust plans to redeem 100 of its series T-7 auction market preferred shares.

The preferreds will be redeemed at $25,000 each on July 2, according to a Rule 23C-2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

BlackRock is an investment management firm based in New York.
