AT&T, BellSouth plan redemptions of five series of notes

Norfolk, Va., June 3 - AT&T Inc. and subsidiary BellSouth Corp. plan to redeem five series of their notes, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

AT&T will redeem all of its 0.875% global notes due Feb. 13, 2015, all 5.625% global notes due June 15, 2016 and $750 million of its 2.5% global notes due Aug. 15, 2015.

BellSouth will redeem all of its 5.2% notes due Sept. 15, 2014 and all 5.2% notes due Dec. 15, 2016.

The notes will be redeemed on July 15.

The Bank of New York Mellon and Regions Bank are the trustees.

BellSouth is a telecommunications company based in Atlanta. AT&T is a telecommunications company based in Dallas.
