Mexico's Satmex begins change-of-control offer for 9½% senior notes

Madison, Wis., Feb. 4 - Satelites Mexicanos, SA de CV is offering to purchase for cash any and all of its outstanding 9½% senior secured notes due 2017, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The change-of-control offer is being made in connection with Eutelsat SA's acquisition of Satmex, completed on Jan. 1.
The notes will be purchased at 101 plus accrued interest to the purchase date.
The offer began on Jan. 31 and expires at 5 p.m. ET on March 3.
Tenders may be withdrawn at any time prior to 5 p.m. ET on March 4.
Settlement is slated for March 6.
Trustee Wilmington Trust, NA is the depositary for the offer.
