tw telecom holdings to redeem all 8% notes due 2018 on March 1

New York, Jan. 30 - tw telecom inc. subsidiary tw telecom holdings inc. will redeem all $23,479,000 of its 8% senior notes due 2018, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be redeemed at 104 on March 1, and the payment date is set for March 3.

In other news, tw telecom inc. announced on Jan. 27 the promotion of John T. Blount to president and chief operating officer of the company.

The company is a Littleton, Colo.-based provider of managed data, internet and voice networking solutions to businesses and large organizations.
