Louisiana defeases some of its series 2012-C, 2012-D G.O. bonds

Minneapolis, July 10 - The State of Louisiana defeased some of its series 2012 general obligation refunding bonds, according to a defeasance notice.
The following 2012-C G.O. bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest:
• $31,785,000 of bonds due Oct. 15, 2020, to be redeemed on Oct. 15, 2014;
• $33,415,000 of bonds due Oct. 15, 2021, to be redeemed on Oct. 15, 2014;
• $35.13 million of bonds due Oct. 15, 2022, to be redeemed on Oct. 15, 2014;
• $36.93 million of bonds due Oct. 15, 2023, to be redeemed on Oct. 15, 2014;
• $38,825,000 of bonds due Oct. 15, 2024, to be redeemed on Oct. 15, 2014;
• $24.49 million of bonds due May 1, 2017, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $25.71 million of bonds due May 1, 2018, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $27 million of bonds due May 1, 2019, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $28.35 million of bonds due May 1, 2020, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $29,765,000 of bonds due May 1, 2021, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $31,255,000 of bonds due May 1, 2022, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $32,815,000 of bonds due May 1, 2023, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016;
• $34,455,000 of bonds due May 1, 2024, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016; and
• $36.18 million of bonds due May 1, 2025, to be redeemed on May 1, 2016.
The following 2012-D G.O. bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on July 15, 2016:
• $9,515,000 of bonds due July 15, 2017;
• $10,005,000 of bonds due July 15, 2018;
• $10.52 million of bonds due July 15, 2019;
• $11,055,000 of bonds due July 15, 2020;
• $4.77 million of bonds due July 15, 2021;
• $6.84 million of bonds due July 15, 2021;
• $12.19 million of bonds due July 15, 2022;
• $12,815,000 of bonds due July 15, 2023;
• $13,475,000 of bonds due July 15, 2024;
• $14,165,000 of bonds due July 15, 2025; and
• $14,865,000 of bonds due July 15, 2026.
