Marion County Convention, Ind., defeases 2003A revenue refunding bonds

Kansas City, Kan., May 17 - Marion County Convention and Recreational Facilities Authority, Ind., has defeased portions of its series 2003 A excise taxes lease rental revenue refunding senior bonds, according to a notice.
The bonds will be redeemed June 1, 2013 at par, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The following bonds are affected:
• $4.27 million of 4% bonds due June 1, 2014;
• $4.44 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2015;
• $4,665,000 of 5% bonds due June 1, 2016;
• $4.9 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2017;
• $5.14 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2018;
• $5.4 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2019;
• $5.67 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2020; and
• $5.95 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2021.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
