Washington defeases $1.07 billion of various purpose, motor vehicle G.Os

Minneapolis, Feb. 15 - State of Washington defeased $781.2 million of its various purpose general obligation bonds and $288.46 million of its motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, according to a news release.
The state defeased the following bonds:
• $37,765,000 of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2003D, to be redeemed on June 1, 2013;
• $67.5 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2004A, to be redeemed on July 1, 2013;
• $152,745,000 of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2004D, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2014;
• $292.53 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2005A, to be redeemed on July 1, 2014;
• $230.66 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2005D, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2015;
• $7,115,000 of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2003E, to be redeemed on June 1, 2013;
• $49,745,000 of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2004B, to be redeemed on July 1, 2013;
• $42.02 million of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2004E, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2014;
• $128,265,000 of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2005B, to be redeemed on July 1, 2014; and
• $61,315,000 of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2005E, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2015.
The Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.
