Xcel Energy to pay $108 million to redeem all cumulative preferreds

Kansas City, Kan., Sept. 29 - Xcel Energy Inc. will redeem all of its preferred stock at a total cost of $108 million plus dividends, the company said in a news release.
The redemption will take place on Oct. 31 at the following prices:
• $103.75 per share of $3.60 series cumulative preferred stock;
• $102 per share of $4.08 series cumulative preferred stock;
• $102.50 per share of $4.10 series cumulative preferred stock;
• $103.732 per share of $4.11 series cumulative preferred stock;
• $103.75 per share of $4.16 series cumulative preferred stock; and
• $102.47 per share of $4.56 series cumulative preferred stock.
