University of California calls $77.61 million series Q bonds at 101

Madison, Wis., Aug. 23 - The University of California said it will redeem $77.61 million of its outstanding series Q multiple purpose projects revenue bonds on Sept 21.
The bonds will be redeemed at 101 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The following bonds are affected:
• $44.555 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 1, 2029;
• $7.785 million of 4% bonds due Sept. 1, 2012;
• $8.095 million of 4% bonds due Sept. 1, 2013;
• $8.42 million of 4% bonds due Sept. 1, 2014; and
• $8.755 million of 4% bonds due Sept. 1, 2015.
The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
The University of California has campuses in Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.
