Cook County, Ill., defeases $145.22 million of 1998A, 1999A & B bonds

Milwaukee, Dec. 11 - Cook County, Ill., gave notice that it has defeased its series 1998A G.O. refunding bonds, 1999A capital improvement bonds and 1999B refunding bonds.

The 1998A bonds due 2022, totaling $67.235 million, were redeemed on Dec. 10 at 100.5.

The following 1999A bonds were redeemed at 101 on Dec. 10: $3.28 million of bonds due 2018, $3.445 million of bonds due 2019 and $36.675 million of bonds due 2023.

Also redeemed at 101 on Dec. 10 were $3.06 million of 1999B bonds due 2011 and $26.52 million of 1999B bonds due 2012. The 1999B bonds due Nov. 15, totaling $5 million, were paid at maturity.

The Bank of New York, Mellon Trust Co., NA was the trustee.
