Banco Hipotecario buys back dollar-, euro-denominated notes

Pittsburgh, Jan. 21 - Banco Hipotecario SA said it bought back $8.18 million of its long-term notes due 2013, €3.52 million long-term notes due 2013 and $5 million guaranteed notes due 2010 in December.

The repurchased notes will be retired.

After the buyback, $404.21 million of the long-term notes due 2013, €260.58 million of the euro-denominated long-term notes due 2013 and about $66 million of the guaranteed notes due 2010 remain outstanding.
