Frontier calls 9 1/8% notes

New York, Nov. 20 - Frontier Oil Corp. said it will redeem its remaining $39.475 million of 9 1/8% senior notes due 2006 on Dec. 22.

The Houston refinery operator will pay 103.042% of par plus accrued interest.

Funding for the redemption will come from existing cash, Frontier said.
