Nextel Partners bought back $33.7 million notes in August
New York, Nov. 7 - Nextel Partners Inc. said it bought back $33.7 million principal amount of its senior notes during August.
The Kirkland, Wash.-based wireless phone operator said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it bought back $22.6 million principal amount of its 11% senior notes due 2010 for cash in open-market purchases during the month.
Also during August, the company bought back $11.1 million principal amount at maturity of its 12½% senior discount notes due 2009. The repurchases were for cash in the open market.
