New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $24.75 million leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

New York, Sept. 19 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $24.75 million of 0% leveraged buffered equity index-linked notes due Oct. 1, 2010 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Payout at maturity will be par plus 126% of any index gain. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.7651% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
