Gold Kist to start roadshow Monday for $200 million 10-year notes via CSFB

St. Louis, Feb. 19 - Gold Kist Inc. will start a roadshow Monday for a $200 million offering of 10-year senior notes (B2/B-), according to an informed source.

The deal is expected to price during the week of March 1.

Credit Suisse First Boston will run the books on the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt and for general corporate purposes.

Gold Kist is an Atlanta-based chicken processor.
