New York, July 9 - AltaLink, LP agreed to price C$250 million of 4.446% series 2013-1 medium-term notes due July 11, 2053, according to a press release.
The notes will be issued under the company's $2.5 billion medium-term notes program in an agency deal with RBC Dominion Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., TD Securities Inc., and Casgrain & Co. Ltd.
Settlement is set for July 12.
The notes are secured by a first floating charge security interest in the present and future property and assets of AltaLink.
Proceeds will be used to repay outstanding commercial paper.
Calgary, Alta.-based AltaLink is an electric power transmission company.
