GMAC Financiera plans to sell Ps. 350 million certificados bursatiles in two tranches Wednesday

New York, Jan. 10 - GMAC Financiera SA de CV Sofol said it plans to sell Ps. 350 million of certificados bursatiles (/MX-1+/F1+(mex)) in two tranches via an auction on Wednesday.

The company will sell Ps. 250 million of 28-day certificates with a maturity date of Feb. 9, 2006 and Ps. 100 million of 84-day certificates with a maturity date of April 6, 2006.

Settlement is scheduled for Thursday.

Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa, SA de CV is the auction agent for the transaction.

The 28-day certificates are issue number 1-2006 in GMAC Financiera's current certificados bursatiles program and the 84-day certificates are number 2-2006.

The issuer, based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, is the financial arm for GMAC in Mexico.
