Global Geophysical plan confirmation hearing adjourned indefinitely

Pittsburgh, Dec. 18 – Global Geophysical Services, Inc.’s plan of reorganization confirmation hearing has been adjourned “to a date to be determined,” according to a notice filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The hearing had previously been scheduled for Dec. 19.

The notice did not give a reason for the adjournment.

Global Geophysical, a Missouri City, Texas-based provider of seismic data services to the oil and gas industry, filed for bankruptcy on March 25, 2014. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-20130.
