Four Alpine Series Trust funds to change names Jan. 3

San Diego, Nov. 28 - Several series of the Alpine Series Trust will change names on Jan. 3, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On that date, the institutional class of

• The Alpine Dynamic Balance Fund will become Alpine Foundation Fund;

• The Alpine Dynamic Financial Services Fund will become Alpine Financial Services Fund;

• The Alpine Dynamic Innovators Fund will become Alpine Innovators Fund; and

• The Alpine Dynamic Transformations will become Alpine Transformations Fund.

Class A shares will also be offered beginning Jan. 3, the filing noted.

For new shareholders after Jan. 3, the minimum initial investment of the institutional class will increase to $1 million from $1,000. Minimum purchase amounts will be waived for some categories of investors, including, among others, shareholders as of Jan. 3, employees of the adviser or its affiliates, current and former fund trustees, the adviser and its affiliates and registered investment advisers.
