Some series of Alpine Equity Trust to offer class A shares in January

San Diego, Nov. 28 - Some series of the Alpine Equity Trust will begin offering class A shares on Jan. 3, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Currently, the trust offers only one class of shares, which will be referred to as Institutional Class. For new shareholders after Jan. 3, the minimum initial investment of the Institutional Class will increase to $1 million from $1,000.

Alpine is based in Purchase, N.Y.
