Fitch rates Ghana notes B

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected rating of B to Ghana's upcoming dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes issue.

The expected rating is in line with Ghana's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating, which was affirmed at B with a negative outlook in March, the agency said.

The rating of the notes is sensitive to changes in Ghana's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating, Fitch said.
