Gerdau Ameristeel to retire $405 million 10 3/8% notes at 101.792

Chicago, July 17 - Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. said it plans to redeem its $405 million of 10 3/8% senior notes due 2011 on Aug. 31.

The redemption price is 101.792% of par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Gerdau plans to fund the redemption with cash.

U.S. Bank NA is the indenture trustee.

Gerdau Ameristeel is a Tampa, Fla.-based mini-mill steel producer.
