Williams Capital Group launches new municipal finance division

Milwaukee, April 8 - Williams Capital Group, LP announced the formation of its municipal division to address the expected high volume of municipal borrowings. The municipal team will provide investment banking, sales, trading and underwriting services to state and local governments nationally.
Jacqueline B. Knights has been named director of public finance and will report to Christopher Williams. She has been a banker for municipal financings in general infrastructure, pension funding and transportation. Knight was also a managing director at Bear Stearns.
Frank Quinn is also part of the senior banking team. He has over 37 years of experience in general infrastructure, lease revenue and public power finance. Quinn previously held senior posts at regional securities firms, as well as at Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns.
Williams Capital's municipal sales and trading team includes Anthony Shields, Larry Littig and Kevin O'Rourke.
