S&P rates DeKalb, Ga., hospital bonds AA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its AA long-term rating and A-1+ short-term rating on DeKalb Private Hospital Authority's $150 million series 2008B and series 2008C bonds and Fulton County Development Authority's $50 million series 2008B bonds.

The series 2008 bonds will refund the series 2005 bonds, previously issued as auction-rate bonds, the agency said.

The series 2008 bonds will be in weekly mode supported by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta own self-liquidity, the agency said, adding that as a result, these bonds will carry a dual rating of AA/A-1+.
