By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 5 - Fulbright & Jaworski LLP announced in a press release that it has hired Rick Farmer as a partner in New York and Andrea Lachenmayr as a partner in Washington.

Both previously worked at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP.

Farmer has more than three decades of project finance experience advising clients on infrastructure development, acquisition and finance, public and private partnerships and privatizations. He has worked on major development projects, including the development and financing of a Moroccan coal-fired power plant, selected as one of Project Finance's "Deals of the Year."

With nearly a decade of legal experience, Lachenmayr has advised and represented leading companies including private equity funds, developers and various financial entities on matters such as project finance, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. She focuses on transactions related to investments in and financing for energy and infrastructure assets, including stock and asset sales as well as partnership and joint venture arrangements.

Farmer earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, his master's from the London School of Economics and Political Science and his bachelor's from Lehigh University.

Lachenmayr received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor's from Wesleyan University.

"Rick and Andrea have extensive experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions and project finance matters. They complement our solid team of corporate and project finance lawyers who work from offices worldwide and understand the corporate, project finance and energy issues our clients face in very diverse markets," the chair of Fulbright's Executive Committee, Steven B. Pfeiffer, said in the release. "Rick and Andrea are exceedingly capable, effective lawyers who have already made meaningful contributions to our team."

The law firm is based in New York.
