New Issue: Taiwan’s Fubon Financial prices NT$15 billion 1.72% bonds due 2021

Madison, Wis., July 8 – Fubon Financial Holding Co. priced NT$15 billion of seven-year bonds at par to yield 1.72%, according to a notice on Tuesday.

This is the company’s first issue of corporate bonds in 2014. The company announced in April that it planned to issue up to NT$15 billion of bonds in one or more tranches this year.

Proceeds from the non-underwritten offering will be used to strengthen the company’s working capital.

Fubon Financial is a financial services company based in Taipei, Taiwan.
