Allstate intends to sell fixed-rate senior notes due 2049

Knoxville, Tenn., June 5 – Allstate Corp. plans to offer dollar-denominated senior notes due 2049, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will have a make-whole call until six months prior to maturity and then a par call.
BofA Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Allstate is a Northbrook, Ill.-based insurance company.
