Citigroup plans 14-month buffer securities linked to FTSE 100

Morgantown, W.Va., June 26 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffer securities due Aug. 30, 2018 linked to the FTSE 100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 125% of the index gain, subject to a maximum return of 13.15%. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10%, and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the 10% buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on June 27.

The Cusip number is 17324CK96.
