FT 3377 portfolio to be selected by Automated Quantitative Analysis

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Jan. 12 - FT 3377 has registered units of its Automated Quantitative Analysis (AQA) Portfolio, Series 4, according to an S-6 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Wheaton, Ill.-based First Trust Portfolios LP.

The trust will seek above-average capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of 20 common stocks considered to be the most undervalued at the time of selection.

J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC will select the portfolio using the AQA methodology, which measures performance and creditworthiness of companies for the last eight years on a quarterly basis to measure its intrinsic value and then compares that to the current stock price.

The units will have a public offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.576 each. A maximum sales charge of up to 3.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales charge, a 2.45% deferred sales charge and a 0.5% creation and development fee, will apply. A sales charge discount is available for investments of at least $50,000, with the minimum sales charge set at 3.1% for investments of at least $500,000.

The initial date of deposit is planned for February. The trust will have a mandatory termination date of Feb. 17, 2015.
