S&P's Allis-Chalmers ratings unaffected

Standard & Poor's said its ratings on Allis-Chalmers Energy Inc. (B-/stable) are not immediately affected by the company's acquisition of Drilling Logistics and Services Corp. for $102.4 million in cash and 2.5 million shares of Allis-Chalmers' common stock. The agency said it assumes that the acquisition will be financed in a manner consistent with Allis-Chalmers' B- rating.
