Republic Services to redeem Allied Waste's 6 7/8% notes in full

Kansas City, Kan., May 14 - Republic Services, Inc. will use the proceeds from its notes offering to redeem all of subsidiary Allied Waste North America Inc.'s $750 million of 6 7/8% notes due 2017, according to a news release.

The remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Republic Services is a waste collection company based in Phoenix.
