Fromageries Bel completes €140 million and $110 million 'schuldschein' private placement bond

New York, June 28 - Fromageries Bel announced its issue of "schuldschein" private placement bonds in the amount of €140 million and $110 million.

The euro-denominated bonds were issued in fixed- and floating-rate tranches with tenors of three years, five years, seven years and 10 years.

The dollar bonds were also issued in fixed- and floating-rate tranches. The tranches mature in three years and five years.

HSBC Trinkaus and BNP Paribas managed the placement.

According to a press release, the "schuldschein" bond had close to €400 million of demand.

Proceeds are slated for general corporate purposes.

The Paris-based cheese marketer was advised by Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP.
