Allied Nevada Gold posts $3.27 million loss from operations for April

Pittsburgh, May 29 – Allied Nevada Gold Corp. reported a $3.27 million loss from operations for April on $13.88 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The net loss for the month was $4.5 million.
The company had $23.66 million in cash and cash equivalents as of April 30.
Allied Nevada is a Reno, Nev.-based gold and silver miner that filed for bankruptcy on March 10 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 15-10503.
