Moody's: Allied Nevada notes B3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Allied Nevada Gold Corp. a B3 corporate family rating, B3 probability of default rating and SGL-3 speculative grade liquidity rating.

Moody's also assigned a B3 foreign currency rating to the company's C$400 million 8¾% senior unsecured notes due May 2019.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds from the offering, along with cash flow and cash balances, will be used to fund the expansion of the company's Hycroft Mine in Nevada and for general corporate purposes.
