S&P rates Fresno, Calif., note SP-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an SP-1+ rating to Fresno, Calif.'s $56 million series 2008A-2 tax and revenue anticipation notes (TRANs) due June 30, 2009.

The notes are secured by taxes, revenue and other unrestricted funds.
