Allied Holdings posts $2.69 million February operating loss

Pittsburgh, April 16 - Allied Holdings, Inc. reported a $2.69 million February operating loss on $59.39 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In January, the company posted a $3.83 million operating loss on $56.6 million in revenues.

The net loss for February was $4.1 million, an improvement over a $7.2 million January net loss.

Cash and cash equivalents on Feb. 28 were $2.18 million, compared with $4.63 million at the end of January.

Allied, a Decatur, Ga., distributor of new and used vehicles, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 1, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-12515.
