Amster Trading's stake in Fremont Capital falls below 5%

Charlotte, N.C., March 14 - Investors led by Amster Trading Co. sold 1,319,900 shares of Fremont General Corp. stock between Feb. 29 and March 13 priced from $0.64 to $2.69.

The investors beneficially own 3,996,450 shares, or 4.98%, of the Santa Monica, Calif.-based financial services holding company's outstanding stock.

Amster reported the sale transactions in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
