Freescale borrows $184 million under revolver

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, Jan. 22 - Freescale Semiconductor drew down about $184 million under its revolving credit facility to improve financial flexibility, according to a news release.

Lehman, which has a $60 million commitment under the $750 million revolver, did not honor the company's borrowing request.

The company previously received $460 million under its revolver in October 2008 and has about $23 million in letters of credit outstanding under the facility.

Freescale Semiconductor is an Austin, Texas-based designer and manufacturer of embedded semiconductors for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets.
