Markit LCDX dealers vote to remove Freeport-McMoRan from indexes

Madison, Wis., June 8 - Markit LCDX dealers voted to remove Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. from the Markit LCDX series 8 and 9 indexes, according to a notice.

Freeport-McMoRan was removed from the syndicated secured list with no current obligations. The 30 business day window expired at the close of Wednesday. New versions of the affected indexes will be launched thereafter.
