Moody's assigns Aaa/VMIG1 to Fred Hutchinson cancer center, Wash., bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aaa/VMIG1 rating to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Foundation, Wash., series 2000 bonds, totaling $62.5 million, in conjunction with the conversion to a weekly rate mode from auction-rate mode and delivery of an irrevocable direct-pay letter of credit -by KeyBank, NA.

Sale of the bonds is expected on June 4.

The short-term rating is based on the short-term deposit rating of the bank, currently Prime-1.
