Fitch gives Frederick County facilities bonds AA+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA+ rating to Frederick County, Md.'s $79.4 million general obligation public facilities bonds of 2008.

The bonds are scheduled for bids on June 24.

Proceeds will fund capital projects, including schools, community college buildings, county buildings and water and sewer facilities.

Fitch also affirmed the AA+ rating on the county's outstanding $472 million of G.O. bonds. The outlook is stable.
