Freddie Mac's new five-year Reference Notes talked at 29.5 bps over Treasuries, to price Thursday

Boston, Sept. 8 - Freddie Mac plans to price new five-year Reference Notes on Thursday, talked at a spread of 29.5 basis points over Treasuries, market sources said.
Price talk was initially set at 30 bps over Treasuries, but the spread was tightened late Wednesday.
The size of the offering has not been set, but it is expected to be at least $3 billion.
Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan Chase and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are the lead managers.
The notes will not be callable.
