New Issue: Freddie Mac $4 billion 2.875% five-year Reference Notes yield Treasuries plus 27.5 bps

Boston, Jan. 6 - Freddie Mac priced $4 billion of 2.875% five-year Reference Notes on Wednesday at a spread of 27.5 basis points over Treasuries.

Price talk was for a spread of 27.5 bps over Treasuries. The notes were sold at 99.974 to yield 2.88%.

Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. were the lead managers.

The notes are non-callable.
