New Issue: Freddie Mac reopens 4.125% Reference Notes, upsizes to $5 billion

Tacoma, Wash., July 29 - Freddie Mac said it priced an additional $1 billion of 4.125% Reference Notes due Dec. 21, 2012, bringing the issue size to $5 billion.

The reopened notes were privately placed by Barclays Capital, Inc.

A Freddie Mac spokesperson said the notes were sold at par.

According to the agency's web site, it issued $3 billion of the notes at 99.494 in December 2007 and $1 billion at 102.116 in January 2008.

The notes are non-callable.
