Allied Computers plans to issue Rs. 200 million in convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 4 - Allied Computers International (Asia) Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that, at a board of directors meeting on Feb. 4, the company resolved to raise Rs. 200 million by issuing foreign currency convertible bonds.

The company also is considering Global Depositary Receipts and American Depositary Receipts.

Mumbai, India-based Allied Computers makes laptop computers.
