Franklin Square-sponsored company to invest in middle market companies

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 6 – FS Investment Corp. IV, a new business development company sponsored by Franklin Square Capital Partners, has registered a public offering of up to 250 million shares of common stock, according to a press release.

FS Investment IV is focused on investing primarily in the senior secured debt of private middle market U.S. companies. It will provide customized financing solutions through the direct lending platform of GSO/Blackstone.

Franklin Square is a Philadelphia-based manager of alternative investment funds.
