S&P rates Franciscan Services, Texas, bonds A-
Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- long-term rating to Brazos County Health Facilities Development Corp., Texas' $30 million series 2008 revenue bonds and an A- underlying rating to its $61.692 million of outstanding series 1997 bonds. Both series of bonds were issued for Franciscan Services Corp. Obligated Group.
The outlook is positive.
About $26.9 million of the proceeds will be used to expand into South College Station and for routine capital expenditures at St. Joseph's hospital facilities, and $3 million will be used for refinancing.
